Adonyah Thurman (Donnie)
Student Designer and Web Developer at EWU
Born and raised in Spokane Valley, WA. I graduated from University High school in 2024, as well as EWU’s Running Start program. My most notable accomplishments include designing tattoos for friends and family, and my developed understanding of HTML and CSS. I am extremely passionate about design, I think I was born with that.
I believe my design style can be defined by; my use of light colors, heavy fonts, and textures (use of contrast). I am committed to breaking boundaries in graphic and web design. I am proficient in Adobe products, Figma, and I can create websites using HTML and CSS. I adore traveling, specifically to backpack national parks!

This project is a website for a brand called "Shaded"; an edgy sunglasses company with functionality in mind. The purpose is to demonstrate a culmination of my study of HTML and CSS throughout this quarter. With a focus on responsive design and a goal of using it for my portfolio.
Field Guide
This project is a field guide to Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, from popular fantasy book and movie series Harry Potter. My target with this website was to demostrate my understanding of responsive design and utilize flexbox-based layouts.
Tribute Page
This website is a tribute to popular haute couture designer, Christian Dior. Here, you will find a timeline of Christian Diors life from college to death. Paired with Dior inspired typography, images, and texture. This is a demostration of the basic understanding of HTML and CSS I had at the time.
Recipe Site
This website is for all the baked good lovers! It is a recipe for Banana Bread that can be made for breakfast, snacks, or on-the-go! The purpose of the project was to create a well-structured HTML page. To which we later implemented CSS. is a description of the website. It was the first project I submitted.

Risograph Poster — “Typography for Skaters”Created to introduce typography to skaters, blending design education with the expressive energy of skate culture. I used a risograph printer to take advantage of its vibrant, slightly imperfect aesthetic, choosing bright pink and yellow layers to create a playful but attention-grabbing contrast. Chunky type, star graphics, and the natural grain of the riso process work together.
Illustrator Poster — Porsche 911 TurboDesigned in Adobe Illustrator, this project allowed me to refine my vector-drawing skills and showcase an attention to detail. I illustrated focusing on accurate proportions, crisp line work, and balanced composition to highlight the car’s distinctive aerodynamic profile.
